Scheduling a Fax to Send Later

Updated July 24, 2026

Need a fax to arrive during the recipient's business hours, or want to prepare paperwork the night before a deadline? Schedule it.

Scheduling

When composing a fax, choose Schedule for later instead of sending immediately, and pick the date and time. The fax is prepared, charged, and queued; our dispatcher sends it at the chosen moment.

Canceling a scheduled fax

Any time before dispatch you can cancel from your dashboard — the fax's status shows scheduled until it goes out. On cancellation, the full charge is returned to your credit balance immediately.

Good uses

  • Time zones — send at 9:00 AM the recipient's local time so your fax is on top of the pile
  • Deadlines — prepare filings in advance and let them go out automatically on the due date
  • Office hours — some receiving machines are switched off overnight; a scheduled morning send avoids retry loops

Notes

  • The page count and price are locked in when you schedule.
  • Delivery confirmations and transmission reports arrive as usual after the fax actually transmits.
