1. The service

SendFax.me lets you send and receive fax documents over the telephone network from your browser. You pay per page from a prepaid credit balance; optional dedicated inbound numbers are billed monthly from that balance.

2. Payments & credit

Credit top-ups are one-time purchases processed by Stripe. All purchases are final and non-refundable — see our Refund Policy. Credit never expires. If a fax fails to deliver, the pages charged for that fax are automatically returned to your credit balance.

3. Fax numbers

Dedicated inbound numbers renew monthly from your balance. If your balance cannot cover a renewal, the number is paused; after 30 days paused it is released and cannot be recovered. Number rental fees are non-refundable, including for partial months.

4. Your content — your responsibility

SendFax.me is a transmission service only. We do not read, review, moderate, or approve the documents you send or receive, we are not a party to any document transmitted through the service, and we exercise no control over the content of your faxes or the recipients you choose. You have sole and exclusive responsibility for the content of every fax you send, for your choice of recipients, and for any consequences of the transmission. You retain all rights in your documents; you warrant that you have the right to send them and that doing so violates no law or third-party right.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful content, unsolicited bulk faxing (junk faxes), harassment, or impersonation. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your and the recipient's jurisdiction (including the TCPA, junk-fax rules, and equivalent regulations). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules immediately and without notice.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SendFax.me, its owner, and its service providers from and against any claims, losses, damages, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of the content you transmit, the recipients you send to, or any use of the service in breach of these terms or applicable law.

7. Delivery & liability

Fax delivery depends on the receiving line and the public telephone network; we cannot guarantee delivery or delivery times. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount of unused credit in your account, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Privacy

Documents you send or receive are stored privately, scoped to your account, and automatically purged per our retention schedule. We never sell your data. Payment card details are handled solely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
