Delivery Status and Transmission Reports
Updated July 24, 2026
A fax isn't done until you can prove it arrived. SendFax.me gives you three layers of confirmation.
1. Live status
From the moment you hit send, the fax's status updates in your dashboard: queued → sending → delivered (or failed). Each fax also has a shareable tracking page, so you can watch progress from any device.
2. Email confirmation
When delivery completes, you get an email confirmation (you can toggle these in Settings). If a fax fails permanently, you're notified too — along with the automatic refund to your balance.
3. Transmission report (proof of delivery)
For every delivered fax you can download a PDF transmission report containing the destination number, date and time, page count, duration, and result. This is the fax world's proof of delivery — courts, agencies, and insurers accept transmission reports as evidence a document was sent and received.
What "delivered" means
Delivered means the receiving fax machine acknowledged successful receipt of every page — the same handshake confirmation a physical fax machine prints on its report slip.
