Using the Contacts Book for Frequent Numbers
Updated July 24, 2026
If you fax the same office regularly — a doctor, a court clerk, an insurer — save the number once and never type it again.
Saving a contact
Open Contacts in your dashboard and add a name plus a fax number in international format (e.g. "Dr. Cohen Front Desk", +972 3 555 0100). You can also save a number right after sending a fax to it.
Using contacts
When composing a new fax, start typing in the recipient field and matching contacts appear — pick one and the number fills in, already validated.
Tips
- Name contacts by purpose, not just person ("Aetna Claims Dept" beats "fax 2").
- Contacts are private to your account.
- Editing or deleting a contact never affects faxes you've already sent — history keeps the number as it was sent.
